INGREDIENTS
- 2 medium eggs
- 4 tbsp carob extract
- 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup whole-wheat flour
- 10 g baking powder
- 2 tbsp of cocoa powder
For sauce:
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 30 g unsweetened chocolate

PREPARATIONS
- For the sauce, mix all the ingredients in a small saucepan and cook until it boils. Remove the boiling sauce from the heat and set the sauce aside to cool.
- Put all the liquid ingredients for the cake in a mixing bowl and whisk until completely mixed.
- Add the dry ingredients by sieving them over the liquids and fold them until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- Pour the cake mix on a greased tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35 minutes.
- After the cake is baked, poke holes with a fork and slice. Pour the cooled sauce on the hot cake and let it sit until the cake has completely absorbed the sauce.
