2.0 Lifestyle App Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how 2.0 LIFESTYLE LLC ("2.0 Lifestyle," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 54857 Sunset Ct, Osceola, Indiana 46561, collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the 2.0 Lifestyle mobile application, our related websites (including join.2.0lifestyle.com and member.2.0lifestyle.com), and related services (together, the "Service").

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Service.

1. Age Requirement

The Service is intended only for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at support@the2.0lifestyle.com.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

Account information. Your name, email address, and password when you create an account. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are not visible to us.

Profile and goal information. Age or date of birth, sex, height, starting weight, goal weight, activity level, primary fitness goal, training experience, dietary preferences, and any other information you enter during onboarding or in your profile.

Fitness and wellness data you log. Workouts and workout sessions, exercises, sets, reps, and weights; food and meals logged, calories, and macronutrients; habits you create and complete; supplements you track; water intake; sleep entries; steps; body weight, body-fat estimates, and body measurements; rest days; and your daily 2.0 Score and related history.

Progress photos. Photographs you choose to upload to track physical changes.

Messages and communications. Messages you exchange with a coach or with our team inside the Service, support requests, and any forms, intake questionnaires, or check-ins you complete.

Payment information. When you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by Apple, Google, or Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. We receive limited transaction details such as subscription status, plan, renewal date, and the last four digits or card brand where provided by the processor.

Other information you send us. Anything you provide when you contact support, respond to a survey, or otherwise communicate with us.

2.2 Health data from Apple Health and Health Connect

If you connect the Service to Apple Health (HealthKit) on iOS or Health Connect on Android, and only with your explicit permission, we read the following:

  • Step counts
  • Body weight

We read this data only. We never write data back to Apple Health or Health Connect.

With your permission, the app may read this data in the background on a periodic basis (approximately hourly) so that your daily activity score stays current even when the app is not open. Background access reads the same data types as foreground access and nothing more.

We use this data solely to populate your in-app activity tracking, your daily 2.0 Score, and your progress history within your own account.

We do not use health data for advertising. We do not sell health data. We do not share health data with third parties for their own purposes. Health data obtained through Apple Health is handled in accordance with Apple's HealthKit requirements, and health data obtained through Health Connect is handled in accordance with Google's Health Connect policies.

You may disconnect at any time in the app under Profile → Connected sources, or by revoking permission in your device's Apple Health or Health Connect settings. Disconnecting stops all further reads immediately. Data already imported into your account remains until you delete it or delete your account.

2.3 Information collected automatically

Device and technical information. Device model, operating system and version, app version, language, time zone, device identifiers, and push notification tokens.

Usage information. Features you use, screens you view, actions you take in the app, timestamps, and session information.

Diagnostic information. Crash reports, error logs, and performance data used to diagnose and fix problems.

Approximate location. We do not collect precise GPS location. Your general region may be inferred from your IP address or device time zone for security, fraud prevention, and to display the correct day boundary for your daily score.

Cookies and similar technologies on our websites. Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, analytics, and, where applicable, marketing. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Create and maintain your account and authenticate you;
  • Provide the Service, including workouts, meal plans, habit tracking, supplement tracking, and the 2.0 Score;
  • Calculate, display, and store your daily score, streaks, and progress history;

Legal bases. Where required by law, we process information to perform our contract with you, with your consent (including for health data and push notifications), for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Coaching and Who Can See Your Information

If you connect with a coach through the Service, your assigned coach can view fitness and wellness information in your account, including your logged workouts, nutrition, habits, supplements, body metrics, progress photos you upload, your 2.0 Score and history, and messages you exchange with them. This is a core function of coaching and is the purpose for which you connect with a coach.

Coaches are personnel of 2.0 Lifestyle acting on our behalf and under this Privacy Policy. They are not third parties, and we do not sell or transfer your information to them for their own independent purposes. Coaches are subject to confidentiality obligations.

Coaches are not physicians, dietitians, therapists, or other licensed healthcare providers, and no medical or professional-client relationship is created. 2.0 Lifestyle is not a HIPAA-covered entity and the information in the Service is not protected health information under HIPAA.

Authorized 2.0 Lifestyle staff may access account information as needed to operate the Service, provide support, investigate abuse or safety concerns, and comply with law. Access to coach and member conversations by staff other than your assigned coach is restricted and logged.

When a coaching assignment ends, your conversation history remains visible to you in the app. Your former coach's ongoing access is limited.

When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a commercially reasonable period, except where we must retain it to:

  • comply with a legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligation;
  • resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or establish or defend legal claims;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten in the ordinary course. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained indefinitely.

Deleting the app from your device does not delete your account or cancel a subscription.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored data, row-level access controls that restrict each account to its own data, hashed passwords, and access restrictions for staff.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot and do not guarantee the absolute security of your information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@the2.0lifestyle.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Your Privacy Rights

9.1 U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
  • access a copy of your personal information in a portable format;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete your personal information;
  • opt out of sale, sharing for targeted advertising, or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects (we do not sell or share your information as those terms are defined, and we do not engage in such profiling);
  • not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise these rights, email support@the2.0lifestyle.com from the address on your account, or use the in-app account deletion tool. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where permitted; we may require proof of authorization.

If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response with the word "Appeal." We will respond to appeals within the period required by applicable law.

9.2 Consumer health data

Some states, including Washington and Nevada, provide specific rights regarding consumer health data.

The consumer health data we collect is described in Section 2, and consists of the fitness, wellness, and body-metric information you log in the Service and the step count and body weight data you permit us to read from Apple Health or Health Connect.

We collect this data to provide the Service to you, as described in Section 3. We collect it with your consent and, for data from Apple Health or Health Connect, only after you grant explicit permission.

We share consumer health data only with the service providers listed in Section 5.1 that process it on our behalf, and with your assigned coach where you have connected with one. We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

You have the right to confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data, to access it, to withdraw consent, and to request its deletion. To exercise these rights, email support@the2.0lifestyle.com.

Washington residents: you may exercise rights under the My Health My Data Act by contacting support@the2.0lifestyle.com. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying with the word "Appeal," and you may file a complaint with the Washington Attorney General.

9.3 California residents

We collect the categories of personal information described in Section 2, which correspond to the following categories under the CCPA/CPRA: identifiers; personal information under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80; characteristics of protected classifications (such as age and sex); commercial information; internet or network activity; approximate geolocation; audio, electronic, or visual information (progress photos); and inferences. Health and body-metric information constitutes sensitive personal information.

We use sensitive personal information only to provide the Service and for purposes permitted under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121, and not to infer characteristics about you. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

Sources, purposes, and disclosures are described in Sections 2, 3, and 5. Retention is described in Section 7.

California residents may also request information under the "Shine the Light" law by contacting support@the2.0lifestyle.com.

9.4 Nevada residents

Nevada law permits residents to opt out of the sale of certain covered information. We do not sell covered information. You may submit a request to support@the2.0lifestyle.com.

10. International Users

The Service is intended for users in the United States, and our operations and service providers are located primarily in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to that transfer and processing.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service integrates with and links to third-party platforms, including Apple, Google, Stripe, and our e-commerce store. Those platforms have their own privacy policies and practices, which we do not control and are not responsible for. Review their policies before providing information to them.

12. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to them, and we do not currently respond to such signals. Where required by law, we treat recognized universal opt-out mechanisms as valid opt-out requests.

13. Automated Decision-Making

The 2.0 Score and any calorie, macronutrient, or body-composition figures shown in the Service are calculated automatically by formulas from the data you log and from device sensors. They are estimates, not measurements, may be inaccurate for your individual circumstances, are provided for general informational purposes only, and are not medical advice or a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare provider. We do not use automated processing to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email and update the effective date above. Changes apply prospectively from the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Privacy Policy, stop using the Service and delete your account.
